Camden Lock

Locks are used for raising and lowering boats between different levels of water on rivers and canals.

Camden Lock is a twin manually-operated lock on the Regent's Canal in Camden Town.

There are many types of lock. However, the most common type is the pound lock, which has a chamber with gates at both sides. Due to limitations in showing the pound lock gates opening/closing in 3D, the following video-presentation is closer to an earlier design with a single gate, known as flash lock.
